Welcome to National Sheep Breeders Association

The National Sheep Breeders was originally founded by a group of progressive forward-thinking sheep breeders for their time. Our earliest records date back to 1950 but indications are that the NSBA might have been in existence for some time prior to this.

Originally, we were known as the Irish Pedigree Sheep Breeds Association, it was then formally renamed in 1972 to become the National Sheep Breeders Association. The objective of the NSBA is to promote all breeds on an equal basis without favour or prejudice to any breed large or small.
